Characteristics on KILLER BEES (info to be used in movie)

1.Tends to swarm more frequently.
2.Is more likely to migrate as part of a seasonal response to lowered food supply.
3.Is more likely to "abscond" - the entire colony leaves the hive and relocates - in response to repeated intrusions by the beekeeper.
4. Has greater defensiveness when in a resting swarm.
5. Lives more often in ground cavities than the European types.
6. Guards the hive aggressively, with a larger alarm zone around the hive.
7. Has a higher proportion of "guard" bees within the hive.
8. Deploys in greater numbers for defense, and pursues perceived threats over much longer distances from the hive.
9. Cannot survive extended periods of forage deprivation, preventing intrusion into areas with harsh Winters or extremely dry late Summers

Killer Bees

The story so far...

PROLOGUE:
Scientists are experimenting on a colony of Africanized Honey Bees trying to get them to pollinate more due to the decline in their population across the world. These experiments are causing the bees to be more aggressive and eventually some of them escape the facility.

ACT I:
A series of strange deaths are taking place around a centralized city and surrounding area. Some people believe suicides since some of the victims have fallen out of windows or drowned in the local lake. It is not until a body is discovered covered in bee stings that the truth is known, a swarm of KILLER BEES is on the loose.

ACT II:
The BEES are taking over the city, they are everywhere. Panic is breaking out as more and more deaths are reported. Our hero (and whoever else is in the movie) knows what must be done.

ACT III:
Our hero tracks the BEES back into a nearby forest. He takes a small team with him to try and kill the QUEEN BEE. Sneaking through the forest through the cover of night they discover a hive the size of a two story house. Slowly they enter, some die, the queen is killed, a few BEES escape. The world is safe, but for how long?

How about a sitcom in the world of a dry cleaning business. You could have any number of guest stars coming in to get pick up their pressed pants or altered suits. The recurring characters would be no problems, how about a Korean family that owns the nail salon next door. Just think of Norm MacDonald or Chris Elliott trying on a jacket that is still attached to the machine that spins all the clothes around. It sells itself.
